Art

Our art program offers a warm, nurturing space for young artists to grow, create, and have fun! Class sizes are limited so your child receives individual attention and can fully enjoy the studio space. Toddlers are accompanied by a parent or caregiver, while elementary school-aged children attend classes on their own.
Be sure to dress for a mess!

Handprints

1-5 Years (with adult)
45 minute sessions (see schedule)

Handprints is a child-centered art program where our youngest artists are free to explore and be creative. Children enjoy the stations of our art studio at their own pace: play dough, easel painting, and a special project each week that is set up at the big table. Handprints offers a safe and joyful space for young children to express themselves, where the process of creating matters, not the final product.

“Rutgers’ art program is like no other. Cindy and Lesley are so creative with their weekly projects that when I return to pick up my son from class I am amazed at the wonder they made together.”
