Two year-olds get a gentle transition to drop-off in our nurturing On My Own playgroups. We work with children based on their readiness and needs, with the ultimate goal of enabling children to feel comfortable and confident “on my own”. These playgroups combine adult-directed activities as well as child-led imaginative play. We offer hands-on activities in our learning centers for children to explore at their own pace, as well as circle time, stories, and active play. Children in On My Own will also create in the art studio once per week.
We help children learn important social skills: using words to express their feelings or needs, taking turns, and more. Families provide a snack/lunch (no nuts, please).

“I wanted to send a big thank you from us to the On My Own staff. My son had such a wonderful experience in the On My Own Program!  I remember thinking when I visited the classroom that you all seemed to do an amazing job creating a warm, fun environment that also offered age-appropriate structure around principles of how to be a good citizen, play well with others, etc. – my son’s experience exceeded my already-high expectations.
Thank you again for playing such a positive role in his early educational/community experience!”
